We connect you with a wide range of funders and capital resources, including grants, loans, and investment opportunities. Our team provides guidance on how to apply for funding and navigate the financial landscape to support your business ventures.

We are actively researching, identifying, and connecting with funding resources tailored to support Colorado’s women and women- and BIPOC-owned businesses. Our goal is to provide direct access to these vital resources through our Funders Directory, which links our members with WDC network partners, sponsors, and funding opportunities whenever possible.

Funding & Resource Directory

THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA) – Provides help with SBA services including funding programs, counseling, federal contracting certifications, and disaster recovery. We can also connect you to our partner organizations, lenders, and other community groups that help small businesses succeed.

COLORADO OFFICE OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE (OEDIT) – The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) creates a positive business climate that encourages dynamic economic development and sustainable job growth. We advance the state’s economy through financial and technical programs under the leadership of the Governor and Executive Director.

BUSINESS FOUNDATIONS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM – The Business Foundations Technical Assistance program provides technical assistance and small grants to Colorado small businesses to help businesses legally establish themselves. The program includes 3 required training paths for businesses to complete and receive a certification.

BLACK BUSINESS LOAN FUND – Our goal is to help break this cycle, and make access to capital more attainable for Black-Owned businesses through this low-rate, low-barrier loan – because we believe everyone should be able to access the capital needed to build their small business dream.

ENERGIZE COLORADO – Energize Colorado provides lending, resources and advising to small businesses across the state. Whether you own a local coffee shop or specialize in child care, we’re here to help strengthen your business.

COLORADO BUSINESS RESOURCE GUIDE – The Colorado Business Resource Book is one of the most successful and comprehensive business books in the nation. This publication is made possible by the Colorado Business Development Foundation and the Colorado Small Business Development Center Network.

AURORA-SOUTH METRO SBDC – The Aurora-South Metro SBDC serves dedicated entrepreneurs committed to their own path of success through business ownership. Serving all of Aurora and Arapahoe and Douglas Counties

AMAZON’S BLACK BUSINESS ACCELERATOR – Black Business Accelerator provides Black-owned businesses with a range of resources to help them sell with Amazon. Black Business Accelerator has provided thousands of entrepreneurs and small businesses with education, financial support, and mentorship opportunities that have helped them connect with more customers and build their brand.
