About the Initiative

Empowering CNAs Through Collective Ownership

The CNA Worker Cooperative is a worker cooperative incubator designed to address the challenges faced by women of color, immigrants, refugees, and new Americans in the healthcare industry. By offering comprehensive training and support, this initiative equips CNAs with the skills to establish cooperatives that provide home health care, elder care, and caregiving services.

This project promotes financial independence, job security, and community integration through shared ownership and democratic governance.
